An emotional story of a man-and-dog relationship from a Jack London novel soon gets its movie adaptation, in which we will watch Harrison Ford in the lead role.
The director for this adventure movie, called "The Call of the Wild," is signed by the fantastic Chris Sanders, who is known to us for his animated renditions of "How to Train Your Dragon", "Lilo & Stitch" and "The Croods".
"The Call of the Wild" is about a big-hearted dog named Buck, who found himself on an epic journey with John Thornt in the role of Ford. John is an old and isolated forester who accidentally becomes the new owner of Buck. As they strengthen their relationship, they try to survive the harshness of the wilderness.
"Buck is experiencing the adventure of a lifetime, finally finding his rightful place in the world and becoming his own master," the movie's action description states, among other things.
In addition to Ford, Dan Stevens, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, Bradley Whitford, Colin Woodell, and Cara Gee also star in the film.
The screenplay for the film was developed by Michael green based on a Jack London novel.
The premiere of "The Call of the Wild" is scheduled for February 21, 2020.
