Function is preparing a new album, Existenz

"Existenz," an album that will be available November 29 on the Tresor label, consists of 17 tapes made between 2016 and mid-2019. The album will be available in two forms, LP on 4 vinyls or two CDs. The album focuses on themes of religion, sexuality, trauma, and healing, and is presented as more "expansive" than the usual techno style of the Berlin artist.

When it comes to the album itself, Function will embark on a promo tour of the album with a select date, some of the places where they will present their new work is the Berlin audio-visual show, Berlin Atonal, at a rural festival in Japan and three dates as part his residences at the Georgian Bassiani Club.

Function’s latest release of Recompiled I / II & II / II is out in 2017.
